Signing Loggerhead continues at SC East Bengal

SC East Bengal has run into a crisis with its new investors that is threatening its existence in the country’s top football league, the Indian Super League (ISL).After today's meeting it was decided that instead of signing the final agreement the club will form a 12 member special committee that would look after the entire process. They will meet with Shree Cement officials and will try to convince them regarding changing and amputation of some clauses. But as per our sources such a meeting will not be entertained by Shree Cement untill and unless the Final agreement is signed. But is such a change possible? As per legal experts once a MOU is signed no new clauses can be added or removed. Many East Bengal fan groups are growing restless with the unexplained standoff between club and investor. Hailing from different parts of West Bengal, the fan groups have expressed their displeasure on various social media platforms.Several former players and former club officials also urged them to solve this problem and to sign immediately. If such a problem persists then it will be a great injustice to the millions of supporters. But we are hopeful that this problem will be solved and East bengal will come back to field soon.
