For the very first time in the last 10 years the national anthem of India was played at the Olympics podium and the entire credit goes to Neeraj Chopra-the javelin man of India. Neeraj Chopra was born on December 24,1997 at Panipat in Haryana the region which itself has a great historical significance. But this man created history by winning a Gold at Tokyo the feat which was last achieved by Abhinav Bindra in Beijing. Neeraj came into the limelight after winning a gold medal in 2016 at junior World Championship which was held at Poland. He broke the junior world record with a throw of 86.48m there.
